Red flags
- Unsolicited email or DM telling you to "log in to TikTok" via the link provided. Threats of suspension/strikes or surprise offers of a verified badge or payout to force fast action. URL that looks almost right but isn't exactly tiktok.com (e.g., extra words, hyphen, or wrong TLD)
What to do
- 1Never use links from messages: open the TikTok app or type tiktok.com directly to check your account. Enable two factor authentication on TikTok so a stolen password alone cannot log in. If you already entered credentials, change the password immediately and review devices/sessions in account settings
